Police arrest man with human parts in FCT

Police authorities in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) have apprehended a man in possession of human remains in the nation’s capital.

The arrest of Nuhu Ezra from Gosa Kipikipi village in Lugbe, Abuja, was conducted by officers attached to Iddo police division following intelligence indicating that the suspect had a human skull and bones.

In a statement released on Wednesday, the Command’s Public Relations Officer, Josephine Adeh, disclosed that upon interrogation, the suspect confessed to acquiring the body parts while hunting in Kuje, with the intention of selling them for six hundred thousand naira (N600,000).

The statement further detailed that the FCT Commissioner of Police, Benneth Igweh, has instructed a thorough investigation to determine the origin of the body parts, identify the intended buyer, ascertain if the suspect was involved in any killings to obtain them, and establish the duration of the suspect’s involvement in such activities.
