Police arrest suspected rapist, car snatcher in Ogun

The Ogun State Police Command has arrested one Gbenga Kolawole, 32-year-old for allegedly raping a sixteen years old girl.
The police in a release made available to newsmen in Abeokuta by its spokesperson, SP Omolola Odutola revealed that the arrest followed a report made by the mother of the victim to the police.
She claimed that the suspect took advantage of the victim who got drunk during a church’s annual anniversary celebration in Adubi Ewekoro Local Government Area of Ogun State.
However, the police revealed that the victim had been taken to the hospital for medical treatment.
Also another suspect Alao James, 55, was arrested for stealing a Toyota RAV4 SUV with registration number MUS 580 JA.
The owner of the vehicle is Elogie Polycap who parked the car at a car park in Gbagada but was taken away by an unknown person.
But based on intelligence policing led by the Divisional Police Officer, the suspect Alao was arrested in his hideout in Ilo Ota.
