Police launch search for missing FRSC officer, daughter in Ogun

The Ogun State Police Command has commenced a search for a female officer of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), SRC Funmilayo Lasisi, and her daughter, Sewa Lasisi, who have been declared missing.

According to the spokesperson of the command, CSP Omolola Odutola, the report was filed at the Kemta Divisional Police Headquarters on Tuesday, 5th November 2025, by an FRSC officer serving in Abeokuta, Ogun State, alongside members of the victims’ family.

The report stated that SRC Lasisi and her daughter left their home at Obasanjo Hilltop Estate, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, on Sunday morning, 2nd November 2025, and have not returned since.

It was further gathered that repeated attempts to reach her through phone calls have been unsuccessful.

Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Police, Ogun State Command, Lanre Ogunlowo, has ordered an immediate and thorough investigation to determine their whereabouts and secure their safe return.

CSP Omolola Odutola appealed to members of the public with any useful information regarding the missing persons to contact the nearest police station or reach the Ogun State Police Command through its emergency lines: 0800 000 9111, 0915 957 8888, or +234 803 860 9898.

She assured that all information provided will be handled with the utmost confidentiality.
