The victims were rescued unharmed, and officers recovered one AK-47 rifle, a magazine, and 21 rounds of live ammunition.

The Force reiterated its commitment to combating criminal elements and ensuring public safety.

In another incident in Ebonyi State, 17 suspects were arrested for the mob killing of Uromchi Okorocha in Enohia Itim village, Afikpo LGA. Okorocha was accused of witchcraft but was killed and burned by locals before police could intervene.
