Real Madrid’s President, Florentino Perez, has given instructions for the club to acquire a new center-forward to fill the void left by Karim Benzema at Santiago Bernabeu.
Benzema recently departed to join Al-Ittihad, leaving Real Madrid without a dependable number 9 striker.
Additionally, there are expectations that Marco Asensio, who often served as Benzema’s backup, will also leave the club as a free agent.
According to a report by El Nacional, Real Madrid has shown interest in signing two strikers, namely Tottenham’s Harry Kane and Chelsea’s Kai Havertz.
It is mentioned that Real Madrid President Florentino Perez and Manager Carlo Ancelotti have a preference for Kane over Havertz.
However, the report suggests that signing Kane might be challenging due to Tottenham Chairman Daniel Levy’s belief that Real Madrid’s interest in Havertz is a tactic to lower the price for the England captain.
