The exercise will take place at the Cenotaph, Asaba, beginning Monday, March 9, 2026, and is scheduled to conclude on Friday, April 18, 2026.

A statement signed by the police public relations officer, SP Bright Edafe, and released to journalists in Warri on Thursday, indicated that the screening will be conducted by the Police Service Commission in collaboration with the Nigeria Police Force.

The statement emphasised that the exercise will strictly follow the date and time specified on each applicant’s invitation slip.

“Candidates must log on to npfapplication.psc.gov.ng to confirm their status and print the required documents,” the statement partly read.

“At the venue, applicants are to present their invitation slip (with assigned table), screening forms, evidence of physical and mental fitness from a government-recognised medical facility, NIN printout or NIMC card, O’Level certificate, birth certificate or declaration of age, LGA/State of origin certificate (duly signed by Local Government Chairman or Secretary), Trade Test/Certificate (for specialists only), duly completed guarantors form, and original and duplicate copies of credentials neatly arranged in two separate white flat files with recent passport photographs attached.

“All applicants must appear dressed in a white T-shirt, white shorts, white canvas shoes and white stockings, as prescribed.”

The Commissioner of Police, Delta State Command, CP Aina Adesola, reiterated that the recruitment exercise is entirely free of charge and will be conducted on merit and with transparency.

The CP also warned applicants to “disregard fraudsters or anyone demanding financial inducement, as such persons will be arrested and prosecuted.”

The command assured all eligible candidates of a smooth and credible screening process. Applicants with complaints were advised to call 09155570008 or 09155570007.
