Remi Tinubu pay condolence visit to late COAS Lagbaja’s family

The First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Chief of Army Staff, Lt General Taoreed Lagbaja.

The First Lady, accompanied by the wife of the Vice President, Hajia Nana Shettima, and the wife of the National Security Adviser, Hajia Ribadu, was received by the wife of the Chief of Defence Staff, Mrs Oghogho Musa, and offered prayers for the family.

This was disclosed in a statement signed by Mrs Tinubu’s media aide, Busola Kukoyi, on Wednesday.

While comforting the late COAS’s wife, Mrs Mariya Abiodun Lagbaja, and the children, Senator Oluremi Tinubu remarked that only the Lord can determine a man’s time of passing.

She encouraged them to find solace in the good life and legacy he left behind. She urged the children to stay focused and to pursue the ideals for which their father stood.

The late Chief of Army Staff, Lt General Taoreed Lagbaja, passed away after an illness at the age of 56.
