Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has appointed Samuel Egube as the new deputy chief of staff after Gboyega Soyannwo’s demise.
The governor’s chief press secretary, Gboyega Akosile, made the announcement about the new appointment on his official X page on Wednesday.
Akosile stated that Egube would succeed the late Gboyega Soyannwo, the former deputy chief of staff who passed away on May 15 at the age of 55 after a brief illness. He also mentioned that Egube would be sworn in on Thursday.
Egube was the Ex commissioner for economic planning and budget in the first term of Sanwo-Olu’s administration
Egube, born on March 5, 1969, is a fellow of the Institute of Credit Administration (FCIA). He is also a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (AMNIN) and the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN). Additionally, he holds an honorary senior membership with the Chartered Institute of Bankers.
