Sanwo-Olu appoints Opeyemi as senior aide on youth development

The Governor of Lagos, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has appointed the renowned grassroots youth mobilizer, Alabi Opeyemi Oladimeji, popularly known as ‘Small but mighty,’ as the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on youth mobilization.

This information is contained in a letter issued by the Lagos State Government through the Office of the Head of Service, dated November 23, 2023.

The letter reads in part: “I wish to convey the approval of Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Governor of Lagos State, of your appointment as the Senior Special Assistant (Youth Mobilisation) to Mr. Governor.

In appointing you, the State Government expects you to demonstrate a high level of dedication, diligence, and selflessness in the discharge of your duties to justify the confidence and trust reposed in you.”

Alabi, speaking with the press at the Lagos State Government Secretariat, expressed profound gratitude to Governor Sanwo-Olu for believing in him and entrusting him with this significant task. He pledged to do everything possible to unite Lagos youths and enhance the state’s image.

The Senior Special Assistant (SSA) urged all stakeholders and Lagos youths to collaborate with him in maintaining Lagos as the top center of excellence in Nigeria and Africa as a whole.

Alabi Opeyemi Oladimeji holds a BSc degree and a National Diploma certificate in Computer Science, boasting over 5 years of solid experience in IT. His expertise spans Web/Mobile Application Development, Computer Engineering, and Network/System administration, among other areas.

Other initiatives led by Alabi and his team encompass movements such as Occupy For Tinubu, Occupy For Sanwo, COVID-19 support, Youth for TINUBU/SHETIMA 2023, and more.

Alabi Opeyemi contested as the APC National Youth Leader at the National Convention in 2022.
