The Nigerian Breweries (NB) Plc has distanced its organisation from a fraudulent online quiz competition promising participants a N100,000 prize.
In a statement made available to NewsClickNg, NB warned every member of the public to disregard the phishing contest which was framed in celebration of Nigerian Breweries Plc’s 75th Anniversary.
The report reads in full, “Our attention has been drawn to an online questionnaire in which members of the public are asked to participate for a chance to win N100,000 purportedly in celebration of Nigerian Breweries Plc’s 75th Anniversary.
“Please note that this is a SCAM and not from Nigerian Breweries Plc. Members of the public are advised not to participate and to kindly disregard. We are not currently running any online questionnaire or promotion for our Anniversary.
“Please note that all our communications are disseminated only through our company website, our corporate and brand social media handles.”
