Former PDP National Chairman Prince Uche Secondus honored Peter Odili, the former governor of Rivers State, on his 74th birthday and called him an exceptional leader worthy of imitation.
On Monday, Secondus and his family sent Odili a special birthday message in which they commended his humility and composure under pressure, citing these qualities as those that distinguish him as a remarkable and outstanding leader.
The former PDP chair stated that Odili’s conduct both inside and outside of the office provided a desired paradigm for aspiring leaders to imitate.
“Your Excellency, You have shown by your dispositions in and out of the political office that you are a great mentor with a strength of character and high reputation,” a statement by Secondus’ media aide, Ike Abonyi, stated.
Secondus and his family prayed for Dr. Odili’s graceful aging and wish him many happy years to come. Finally, they prayed to God for his physical and mental well-being.
