It will bring together business leaders, government officials, and crypto experts to have a discussion on the future of Bitcoin in the United States. The event will be invite-only but some parts of it will will be streamed online for the public.

The forum will focus on how Bitcoin can fit into the U.S. financial system. Topics will include Bitcoin’s role in the economy, how it could benefit the country, and what rules should be made for it.

“Forum sessions will describe how Bitcoin will fit into a world in which it is changing, its role will align with American national interests, why the U.S. will consider diversifying its assets into Bitcoin, and how the issues of strategy related to Bitcoin can be arranged at a national level,” the website states.

Senator Cynthia Lummis has currently been active as a strong advocate for digital currency and last year she declared that 2025 will mark “the year of Bitcoin digital assets”. She also swore to lead efforts to establish a comprehensive legal framework for digital assets.
