Soludo loses father

The Anambra State governor, Chukwuma Soludo has lost his father, Simon Soludo.

The nonagenarian died in the early hours of Monday after an illness, according to reports.

Christian Aburime, the governor’s press secretary, announced Pa Simon Soludo’s death in a statement posted on Monday.

According to Aburime, the deceased died at the age of 92.

He said, “Pa Soludo is survived by seven sons, eight daughters-in-law, twenty-two grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

“Governor Soludo noted that his late father lived a fulfilled life and died at the ripe age of ninety-two years (92)

“Further information will be communicated to the public in due course.”
