Tinubu offers appointment to late MKO Abiola’s son

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, has approved the appointment of Jami’u Abiola as Senior Special Assistant to the President on Linguistics and Foreign Affairs.

According to a statement from Segun Imohiosen, Director of Information and Public Relations, on behalf of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, the appointment takes effect from November 14, 2024.

It aligns with the provisions of the Certain Political and Judicial Office Holders (Salaries and Allowances, etc.) Act 2008, as amended.

Prior to this role, Jami’u served as Special Assistant to the President on Special Duties in the Vice President’s office.

President Tinubu urged the new appointee to collaborate closely with the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs and leverage his extensive experience in his new role.
