Tinubu appoints Walson-Jack as Head of Civil Service

On Wednesday, President Bola Tinubu approved Didi Esther Walson-Jack’s appointment as head of the Federation’s civil service.

Ajuri Ngelale, the presidential spokesman, stated that the appointment will take effect August 14, 2024.

“Ms. Walson-Jack was appointed Federal Permanent Secretary in 2017 and has worked in many ministries.

“The new appointee will take over from the incumbent Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Dr Folasade Yemi-Esan, CFR, who is due to retire on August 13, 2024,” Ngelale announced in an email.
