Tinubu condoles Governor of Borno State over mother’s death

President Bola Tinubu has expressed condolences to the former Governor of Borno State, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff, following the passing of his mother, Hajiya Aisa.

Hajiya Aisha passed away on Sunday in Abuja after a long illness, at the age of 93.

She will be laid to rest today, Monday, at the family residence of the late Galadima Modu Sheriff along Damboa Road in Maiduguri, the capital of Borno State.

In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media & Publicity, Chief Ajuri Ngelale, on Monday, President Tinubu also encouraged the Modu Sheriff family to find solace in the fact that the deceased led an exemplary life marked by strong virtues.

The President prayed that Allah grants Hajiya Aisha Aljannah Firdausi and provides comfort to her grieving family.
