President Bola Tinubu has left Lagos for Europe in preparation for his official trip to Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates.
In a statement issued on Sunday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, it was disclosed that the President will attend the 2026 Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW 2026) Summit at the invitation of UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The week-long summit, scheduled for early January, will convene global leaders from government, business, and civil society to deliberate on approaches to promoting sustainable development across the world.
The 2026 edition of the summit is themed ‘The Nexus of Next: All Systems Go’ and is expected to link ambition with action across innovation, finance and human capital, highlighting pathways for global progress.
President Tinubu is expected to return to Nigeria after the summit.
