On Saturday, President Bola Tinubu left Paris, France, and traveled to London for a personal visit.
According to a statement released by his Special Adviser on Special Duties, Communication, and Strategy, Dele Alake, Tinubu had originally planned to return to Abuja on Saturday but will now proceed to the United Kingdom for a brief private visit.
The statement is titled ‘After successful Paris outing, President Tinubu off to London on a private visit.’
Alake revealed that the “President will be back in the country in time for the upcoming Eid-el-Kabir festival.”
During his official trip to Paris, President Bola Tinubu concluded his participation in the summit on “A New Global Financing Pact” hosted by French President Emmanuel Macron.
Alongside attending the event, Tinubu engaged in significant sideline meetings with fellow heads of state, government officials, influential global business leaders, and CEOs of leading multilateral and development finance institutions from various countries.
The President’s spokesperson highlighted that the summit provided an international platform for Tinubu to advocate for expanding the fiscal space and promoting economic justice in Africa, particularly as the world intensifies its efforts in transitioning to clean energy.
Tinubu also stressed the importance of addressing pressing issues such as poverty and climate change, emphasizing their urgency and significance.
