Tinubu returns to Abuja after Tanzania Energy Summit

President Bola Tinubu has returned to Abuja after attending the Africa Heads of State Energy Summit in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The presidential aircraft landed at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport at 7:40 PM, where he was welcomed by government officials, including Defence Minister Bello Matawalle, National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, and Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila. The two-day summit was hosted by the Tanzanian government, the African Union, the African Development Bank, and the World Bank Group. During his visit, Tinubu reaffirmed Nigeria’s commitment to universal energy access and leadership in Africa’s energy sector. He also endorsed the Dar es Salaam Energy Declaration alongside other heads of state, outlining a roadmap for Africa’s progress.
