President Bola Tinubu has returned to Abuja following a one-day visit to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for the recently concluded extraordinary Arab-Islamic summit.
Tinubu arrived at the presidential wing of Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Abuja, at around 8 pm on Tuesday.
Present to welcome the President were his Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, along with security heads and other officials.
Also in attendance were ministers, including Nyesom Wike (Federal Capital Territory) and Wale Edun (Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy).
The National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje, was also on hand to greet him.
The summit, hosted by King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, centred on current issues in the Middle East.
During his time at the summit, Tinubu addressed the ongoing Israeli-Palestinian conflict, stressing Nigeria’s call for an immediate ceasefire and a peaceful resolution.
