President Bola Tinubu has arrived at the Sam Mbakwe International Cargo Airport in Owerri, the Imo State capital, for a one-day official visit.

The presidential aircraft touched down at precisely 12:52 p.m.

During his visit, the President will inaugurate several major infrastructure projects, including the reconstructed 60-kilometre dual carriage Owerri–Mbaise–Umuahia Federal Road.

He will also commission the Assumpta Flyover and the newly constructed 6,000-capacity Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu International Conference Centre, Owerri — all completed under the administration of Governor Hope Uzodimma.

Later in the day, President Tinubu is expected to attend the book presentation and unveiling of Governor Uzodimma’s publication, A Decade of Impactful Progressive Governance in Nigeria. The book documents Nigeria’s democratic journey and the achievements of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in governance over the past decade.
