Anambra State has been gripped by tragedy following the discovery of three siblings dead within their home. The peaceful tranquility of Nise Community in Awka South Local Government Area was shattered by the gruesome discovery of three young siblings brutally killed within their home, leaving the community in a state of mourning.

The horrifying incident that unfolded last Saturday has left the community reeling in grief, grappling with unanswered questions.

Initial investigations suggest the perpetrator gained access to the property by scaling the perimeter wall. The three young boys, aged between two and six years old, were tragically discovered lifeless within their father’s vehicle, which was parked within the compound.

Eyewitness accounts paint a picture of the crime scene, with reports of the children’s mouths bound and the vehicle smeared with blood, suggesting a calculated and brutal attack.

The victims’ father, a man in his early thirties who operates as both a traditional healer and a businessman, reportedly left his children locked within the compound while he and their mother attended to business obligations. He would typically return briefly to provide them with meals before resuming his work commitments.

While rumors of the father’s involvement in disputes with certain individuals are circulating, the connection between these conflicts and the tragic deaths remains unconfirmed.

Local security agencies have been duly notified of the incident.

According to reports, the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, stated that the incident had not yet been formally reported to his office. He assured the public that an official statement would be issued as soon as details of the case become available.
