One person died and several others sustained injuries on Friday when a train collided with a farm vehicle near Bjerndrup in southwest Denmark, police reported.
Two of the injured were airlifted to hospital, though authorities did not disclose the severity of their conditions.
Rail agency Banedanmark confirmed the crash occurred at a railway crossing. Local media reported that at least two carriages derailed.
The train, operated by DSB, was travelling between Copenhagen and Sønderborg, carrying about 95 passengers, including pupils from a local school.
