Training starts Monday, Police tell shortlisted candidates

Police authorities in Abia have asked indigenes of the state who participated in the medical screening for the 2021 police constable recruitment exercise to prepare for training, the next stage of the exercise.

The command advised candidates to confirm their recruitment status on the police portal: www.policerecruitment.gov.ng while stating that the training exercise for successful candidates will begin on Monday next week.

Geoffrey Ogbonna, the Police Public Relations Officer in Abia, released the information in a statement on Monday in Umuahia, the state capital.

Ogbonna, a Superintendent of Police (SP), informed the candidates that the documentation of new recruits would take place between Saturday, July 23 and Sunday, July 30 in all police training colleges and schools across the country.

According to hm, any candidate who fails to report within the specified period will be considered to have rejected the offer.

In her reaction, the Commissioner of Police in Abia, Janet Agbede, congratulated the candidates from the state on the feat recorded so far.

Shen also encouraged them to check the recruitment portal for further information and directives that could help them in their preparations before reporting to the training school.

The Nigeria Police Force Abia State Command wishes to notify candidates of Abia State origin who participated in the medical screening for 2021 recruitment exercise of police constables to check their recruitment status on the recruitment portal: www.policerecruitment.gov.ng.

Successful candidates, thereafter, are advised to print out their Invitation Slip and proceed to Police Training School Nekede, Imo State.

The training exercise for successful candidates commences on Monday July 25th, 2022.

The Commissioner of Police Abia State Command, CP Janet E. Agbede, psc while congratulating the successful candidates, encourages them to check the recruitment portal for further information and directives that would help in their preparations before reporting to the training School.

They are equally enjoined to note that the documentation of new recruits in the Training Colleges/Schools nation- wide, opens on Saturday, July 23, 2022, and closes on Sunday, July 30, 2022.

Any candidate who fails to report within the specified period would be considered to have rejected the offer.
