A man has issued a stern warning to National Youth Service Corps members allegedly being recruited to manipulate election results, claiming that corps members have previously been used as “instruments” to rig elections.
In a viral video, the man alleged that some corps members were allegedly paid as much as $100 to participate in electoral malpractice.
He warned corps members against accepting money to interfere with the electoral process, saying they could face serious consequences if they attempted to manipulate votes.
“Corpers na the instruments wey dem take dey rig elections; some were given $100.
“This time around, if you’re a corper and they want to pay you (to rig), call your mama, write your will…..
“BECAUSE HAND GO TOUCH YOU! WE GO DEFEND OUR VOTES,” he said.
The man’s comments were directed at corps members expected to participate in the conduct of elections, as he urged them to remain neutral and protect the integrity of the voting process.
