An All Progressives Congress (APC) supporter has claimed that Nigeria could collapse if President Bola Tinubu fails to secure re-election in next year’s presidential election.
The supporter, while expressing confidence in Tinubu’s leadership, argued that the President was laying the foundation for prosperity in the country and should be given another term to consolidate his efforts.
“If Tinubu isn’t reelected as President next year, there will not be Nigeria again, Nigeria will collapse,” the supporter said.
The APC supporter also criticised opposition figures, including former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar and supporters of the Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi, popularly known as Obidients.
“Who’re the Atikus? Who are the Obidients? They’re all looters,” the supporter added.
The supporter maintained that Tinubu was working towards building a prosperous future for Nigerians, insisting that his leadership was crucial to the country’s future.
The comments come amid political discussions and preparations ahead of the 2027 general elections, when Tinubu is expected to seek another term in office.
However, the supporter’s remarks, particularly the claim that Nigeria could collapse if Tinubu loses the election, represent a political opinion rather than an established fact.
