Social media has been buzzing as internet users’ express outrage and share mixed opinions following remarks made by veteran Nollywood actor Hanks Anuku during The Honest Bunch Podcast, where he stated that Nigerians should be patient with President Tinubu because he is doing a great job fixing a country he did not spoil.
During The Honest Bunch Podcast, Anuku said Nigeria’s challenges predate Tinubu’s administration and that the president is doing a great job addressing them. He dismissed ideas of attacking past leaders and defended staying the course with the ‘devil we know,’ while planning to hang out with Tinubu and denying any payment for his support.
In part, he said, “Nigerians should be patient with President Tinubu because he’s doing a great job fixing a country he did not spoil.”
