A confrontation during Omoyele Sowore’s ongoing trial has prompted debate about whether his combative approach will help his 2027 presidential campaign.
The case involves charges of criminal defamation and cyberstalking linked to Sowore’s social media criticism of President Bola Tinubu, including calls for his removal.
Sowore, who is running under the African Action Congress, has pledged a minimum wage of N500,000, free education and the restoration of fuel subsidies.
