African Action Congress governorship candidate Doris Ogala has spoken out in court amid her ongoing legal dispute with Pastor Chris Okafor, saying her boyfriend wants to use the law against her.
“A court is a place that allows the common man to speak. My boyfriend wants to weaponise the law against me.”
Ogala was reportedly remanded at Ikoyi prison while awaiting the scheduling of her bail hearing.
She had earlier expressed concern over alleged plans to keep her in custody, saying this could affect her freedom and political ambitions ahead of the 2027 Abia State governorship election.
