The presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Peter Obi, has arrived in Jos, Plateau State, moments after leaving Benue State.
Obi arrived in the Plateau State capital on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, shortly after his convoy was reportedly attacked and obstructed by suspected political thugs in Benue.
He had earlier visited the state to show solidarity with communities affected by recent killings and insecurity.
