A viral video circulating online captures officers of the Nigeria Police Force assaulting an unidentified young man.
The footage, shared by X user Somto Okonkwo, known as #General\_Somto, depicts the victim being harassed and struck by uniformed officers.
In response, the Police Complaint Response Unit (NPF-CRU) acknowledged the video and urged Okonkwo to provide additional details to support their investigation.
Their post on X reads: “Dear #General_Somto, kindly provide exact location of this incident or better still provide the details of the victim via DM for necessary action. Thank you for contacting NPF-CRU. #NoToImpunity.”
Details including the identities of the officers involved and the location of the incident on remain unknown at this time.
