Popular Lagos area boy, Oba Aro, also known as “King of Cripples,” has reportedly staged a street protest against the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
In a video circulating online, Oba Aro was seen expressing his opposition to the extradition of Nigerians accused of committing crimes to the United States.
The Lagos street figure called on the FBI to stop extraditing alleged criminals from Nigeria, arguing that such individuals should instead face justice within the country.
Speaking during the protest, Oba Aro said, “Say no to FBI office in Nigeria.”
The video has generated reactions on social media, with several Nigerians expressing surprise at the protest and questioning the reason behind his action.
The protest comes shortly after the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) extradited two Nigerians, Mudashiru Afeez Olawale and Adebola Festus Adekunle, to the United States over allegations of online sexual exploitation and sextortion involving two teenage boys.
The two suspects were handed over to US authorities on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, by the Lagos Zonal Directorate 2 of the EFCC.
Their extradition followed separate investigations by the FBI into alleged sextortion schemes targeting male teenagers, particularly minors aged between 13 and 17.
According to the EFCC, the investigations linked the two Nigerians to separate cases involving American teenagers who reportedly died by suicide after allegedly being subjected to online sexual exploitation and blackmail.
The suspects were accused of using sexually explicit materials involving minors to allegedly pressure their victims into sending money through channels including gift cards, money transfer services and cryptocurrency.
In one of the cases investigated by the FBI, a 13-year-old boy reportedly received an Instagram message from an individual proposing an exchange of nude photographs.
The FBI said the individual subsequently threatened to share the boy’s photographs with his Instagram contacts unless he paid money.
Investigators reportedly continued monitoring the communications even after the teenager indicated that he was contemplating suicide.
