[TRENDING VIDEO] “Divorce your husbands if they stop you from voting for us, I’ll pay your bride price and marry you,” Yobe APC chairman tells women
Social media has been buzzing following remarks by Alhaji Muhammad Gadaka, the Yobe State APC chairman, who told supporters that women blocked from voting APC by their husbands should divorce and he would marry them.
In part, he said, “if your husband won’t allow you to vote APC, leave the marriage. I will pay your bride price and marry you.”
The video spread fast online, prompting sharp criticism for meddling in family matters.
