Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State has said the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and main opposition, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) may have to revisit their policies if they wish to maintain their relevance beyond 2023.
The Governor in a now viral video while referring to the PDP’s poor outing at the just concluded Ekiti Governorship Election which was won by the APC said it was bad that the party could not even come second.
Recall that the Social Democratic Party (SDP) came second at the poll while the PDP that had earlier held the state under its grab for years came third.
Obaseki said there is a new wave of political movement majorly driven by the youths as alternative to the dominant APC and PDP.

Nigerians are disenchanted with the existing parties. Most of them are now Obidients. They no longer talk of APC or PDP and they are going out massively to get their PVC – Edo governor, Obaseki
