Tribunal resumes hearings, PDP’s petition challenging Tinubu’s victory

The Presidential Election Petition Court has commenced hearings on the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) petition contesting President Bola Tinubu’s victory in the February 25 election.

Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), was proclaimed the winner of the hotly disputed presidential election.

The PDP is one of the parties that are displeased with the outcome of the polls and have approached the tribunal to nullify Tinubu’s victory.

So far, the main opposition party has called 26 witnesses to prove its case.
