Two commissioners, LASUED VC, others in attendance as NewsClick Nigeria’s Toyibat Ajose weds lover in Lagos

A senior reporter with NewsClick Nigeria Media, Toyibat Ajose on Saturday, August 17 wedded her fiancé, Ahmed Adeyemi at a well-attended ceremony in Badagry, Lagos State.

NewsClick Nigeria reports that the ancient town of Badagry played host to the crème-dela-crème of the society who came from far and near to honour the newlyweds. Dignitaries at the wedding ceremony include: Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Tolani Sule; his Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development counterpart, Bolaji Kayode Roberts; Vice Chancellor, Lagos State University of Education (LASUED), Prof. Bidemi Lafiaji-Okuneye; Registrar, Mr. Opeoluwa Akinfemiwa and other high ranking officials of the University. NewsClick Nigeria reports that the bride’s dad, Ganiyu Ajose is the pioneer and incumbent Bursar of the University.

Meanwhile, the clerics in their sermons admonished the couple to uphold the sanctity of their union. They implored the couple to see themselves as helpmates and not dominating figures to one another.

In a brief chat shortly after being joined husband and wife, the new couple expressed their joy for the success of the ceremony and thanked guests for honouring them.
