A lecturer at Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Dr. Chukwudi Okoye, has finally addressed the public following an incident involving a female student allegedly attacking him.
The matter gained widespread attention on social media after videos surfaced showing a female student confronting the lecturer, reportedly fighting him and tearing his clothes. The videos also captured a crowd of students gathered at the scene as the altercation unfolded.
According to reports, the incident began when the lecturer interrupted the student while she was recording a video, as she was standing in his way.
In an official statement shared on the university’s Facebook page, the student involved was identified as Goddy Mbakwe Precious, a 300-level student. The statement also revealed that the institution has launched an investigation into the matter.
Amid the ongoing reactions, Dr. Okoye took to his Facebook page to share his perspective on the situation. He wrote:
“Let Jesus Alone take the glory from this.”
The post sparked further discussion online, with many sharing their views on the incident and the lecturer’s response.
