Prominent American rapper Lil Durk, born Durk Banks, was reportedly arrested on Thursday night in Florida and has been charged with murder-for-hire.
Currently held without bond, Banks is in custody at Broward County Jail, pending transfer to U.S. Marshals, according to XXL Magazine.
This arrest follows the earlier detention of five other suspects on the same day, each charged with murder-for-hire and conspiracy to commit murder-for-hire.
The charges are linked to the 2022 killing of Saviay’a Robinson, the cousin of rapper Quando Rondo, who was fatally shot in Los Angeles.

Federal prosecutors have identified the additional suspects as Kavon London Grant, Deandre Dontrell Wilson, Keith Jones, David Brian Lindsey, and Asa Houston.
They allege that these suspects sought retaliation against Rondo for his suspected involvement in the 2020 murder of Chicago rapper King Von in Atlanta, according to WGN-TV.
