The United States Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, on Wednesday, officially inaugurated the ‘American Corner’ located in the Lekki area of Lagos State.
The advanced and technology-driven American facility in Lagos is designed to promote youth innovation, entrepreneurship, and creativity in Nigeria.
The technology aligns with the Biden Administration’s U.S. Strategy toward Sub-Saharan Africa, focusing on advancing digital transformation and fostering an inclusive digital ecosystem.
During his second day in Nigeria, Secretary of State Blinken, accompanied by the Minister of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy, Bosun Tijani, along with other U.S. government officials, inaugurated the space. This visit to Nigeria is part of Blinken’s ongoing tour of Africa.
