Hope Uzodimma has been removed as Chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum (PGF), just hours after speaking on behalf of the All Progressives Congress (APC) governors during the submission of President Bola Tinubu’s presidential nomination and expression of interest forms in Abuja on Thursday.

His removal was announced during an extraordinary meeting attended by about 20 APC governors, including the governors of Ogun, Bayelsa and Enugu states. The meeting took place at the Ogun State Governor’s Lodge in Abuja on Thursday night.
As of the time of filing this report, the meeting was still ongoing, while a new chairman for the forum is expected to be unveiled soon.
