The incident, which has since gone viral on social media, was said to have occurred along a major road in Yenagoa during the movement of the presidential convoy. In widely circulated videos, uniformed officers believed to be from both services were seen exchanging blows and engaging in a heated altercation in public view.
Eyewitness accounts suggest that the clash may have stemmed from a disagreement over access control and positioning at a security checkpoint along the presidential route. Some reports also alleged that the dispute escalated rapidly, leading to a breakdown of discipline among the personnel involved.
