A French band captivated guests at a state dinner in Paris on Thursday with a lively performance of P-Square’s hit song “Testimony (Taste the Money)” in honor of President Bola Tinubu.
The event took place at the Palais de l’Élysée during Tinubu’s three-day state visit to France, aimed at strengthening diplomatic and economic ties between the two countries.
In a widely shared video, the band delivered a spirited rendition of the Afrobeat classic, infusing Nigerian rhythms with a French twist.
The performance received enthusiastic applause from the audience, including President Tinubu and First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu, who seemed delighted by the cultural tribute.
The band also performed “Mama Africa” by Bracket, further showcasing Nigerian music on the international stage.
