Nigerian musician Darlington Okoye, better known as Speed Darlington, has claimed that his opponent, Badmus Okikiola, also known as Portable, used charms, often referred to as juju, during their recent celebrity boxing match.
The fight, which occurred on Saturday, was part of the ‘Chaos In The Ring’ event organized by Game Rush and Balmoral Promotions.
This event followed previous boxing showcases held by the organizers in December 2024 and the launch of Friday Fight Night in February 2025.
In a video shared on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Speed Darlington alleged that he dislocated his shoulder during the bout, despite feeling not overly fatigued. He implied that his opponent may have used traditional charms in the ring, which he believes affected the fight’s outcome.
Portable won the match, which has since attracted considerable attention online.
Reports suggest that tensions between the two artists heightened after Speed Darlington offered Portable ₦500,000 to perform at an event, a gesture Portable reportedly deemed insulting.
