[VIDEO]Many feared dead as trailer falls from Ojuelegba Bridge, lands on car
After a trailer went over the Ojuelegba bridge in Lagos’ Surulere neighborhood and landed on a car under the bridge, many road users are believed to be dead.
The tragic occurrence occurred on Saturday, April 2, with a large throng gathering at the area waited for assistance.
The trailer was later pulled off the car with a crane, according to eyewitness recordings, but only after some of the individuals in the car had passed away.
In an open letter to Lagos State Governor Sanwo-Olu, a Twitter user said, “People just died in front of me for no reason.”
The Lagos State Traffic Management Agency (LASTMA) said via its Twitter handle that the “flat body truck” veered onto the service lane of the road and trapped a Honda car.
“Earnest effort is currently being made towards evacuation.”
The incident occurred at 8:36 [p.m.], the agency said.

Mr. Governor @jidesanwoolu a trailer fell off a bridge unto the car Infront of me at Ojuelegba and it is the most fucked up thing I’ve ever seen in my life, I’m supposed to be dead right now. If there’s anything your administration should be known for, it should be stopping this.
