VP Shettima in Kaduna to attend passing out parade of NDA Cadets

Vice President Shettima has arrived at the Nigerian Defence Academy in Afaka, Kaduna State, to attend the passing out parade and commissioning ceremony for the 70th Regular Course cadet.

The Vice President, representing on behalf of President Bola Tinubu as the reviewing officer, arrived at Kaduna International Airport at 10 a.m. and inspected a Quarter Guard stationed at the NDA Main Gate.

He will later present the Banner to the Champion Battalion and bestow awards upon deserving cadets.

Among those in attendance are the Governor of the host state, Senator Uba Sani, the Governor of Taraba State, Agbu Kefas, all the Service Chiefs, the Inspector General of Police, the Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio, the Minister of Defence, Abubakar Badaru, and various other high-ranking government officials.

A total of over 200 cadets, including some from sister African countries such as Liberia, Sierra Leone, Niger Republic, Chad, and Uganda, are graduating from the Nigerian Defence Academy as junior military officers.
