Who we are

We are a media organisation with a strong desire for public interest communication, and developmental journalism that puts Nigeria at the centre of Africa and world affairs.

In our six-year existence so far, NewsClick Nigeria has not only taken the lead in digital news reporting with our regular, in-depth, exclusive and award winning stories but also wears another badge of journalism honour with our annual print publications aimed at catering for the information needs of all Nigerians across board.

In addition to the rapid growth and achievements as enumerated above, NewsClick Nigeria recently added a foundation arm with special focus on investigations and special reports. Since its launch in 2022, the NewsClick Foundation for Investigative Journalism (NFIJ) has bankrolled over ten (10) investigative stories/special reports published on www.newsclickng.com.

It is also worthy of mention that NewsClick Nigeria is one of the few media organizations in Nigeria recognized by the United Nations system. We were also duly accredited and attended the Conference of Parties (COP 26, 27 and 28) Global Climate Conference that held respectively in Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom from October 31st – November 13th, 2021; Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt from 6 to 18 November 2022 and Expo City, Dubai, United Arab Emirate (UAE) from 30 November to 12 December 2023 as media partner.

In an industry that is almost turning an all comers affair, NewsClick Nigeria has continuously distinguished itself with zero tolerance for publication of fake news and distribution of same on any of its distribution channels.
