The Osogbo Affairs Forum (OSAF), the foremost Osogbo aboriginal professionals at home and in Diasporas, has felicitated with one of Osogbo’s most accomplished sons and award-winning Public Relations Strategist, Alhaji Rasheed Bolarinwa, on the occasion of his birthday.

In a congratulatory message jointly signed by the Convener of the Forum, Prince Hameed Oyegbade, and the Chairman of the Steering Committee, Abdulrahmon Okunade, Esq., the Forum described Bolarinwa, currently the Group Head of Brand Management & Corporate Communication at Polaris Bank, as an accomplished corporate communications strategist, marketing professional, community leader, devoted Muslim, exemplary family man and worthy ambassador of Osogbo whose contributions continue to resonate across professional and community circles.

The Forum noted that Bolarinwa has built an enviable reputation over several decades through his outstanding contributions to marketing, advertising, branding, corporate communications and stakeholder engagement within Nigeria’s financial services sector. It observed that he belongs to the select cadre of communications professionals whose practice is recognised across the three principal regulatory and professional institutions governing Nigeria’s integrated marketing communications industry.

As a Fellow of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN), and a distinguished member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) and a registered practitioner of the Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON), the Forum stated that Bolarinwa’s credentials underscore his professional excellence, integrity and unwavering commitment to the highest standards of practice in the marketing communications profession.

The Forum paid glowing tribute to his remarkable leadership as the immediate past President of the Association of Corporate Communication and Marketing Professionals in Banks (ACAMB), a position he held with distinction for four years. According to the Forum, his tenure was marked by visionary leadership, innovation and institutional strengthening that transformed ACAMB into one of the most respected professional bodies in Nigeria’s banking industry.

“Under his stewardship, ACAMB witnessed unprecedented growth in visibility, relevance, stakeholder engagement, capacity development and industry influence.
