‘We will strike powerfully if you attack us’ – Israel’s Netanyahu warns Iran

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Tuesday that Israel would respond forcefully if Iran launches another attack against the country.

Speaking at a conference, Netanyahu warned Iran’s leadership against assuming tensions had eased permanently.

“I will say it to the leaders of Iran: Do not count on things remaining quiet if you attack us. The days are over when someone strikes us and we don’t hit back with a decisive blow.”

His remarks underscore Israel’s position that any future attack by Iran would be met with a strong military response.

The comments come amid continued regional tensions between Israel and Iran following recent rounds of direct confrontation. While no new attack was announced, Netanyahu’s statement serves as a warning that Israel intends to maintain a policy of swift retaliation against any future aggression.
