Why I publicly opposed Mercy Aigbe — Lagos businesswoman

The brawl between Mercy Aigbe and entrepreneur Lara Olukotun nicknamed Larrit at a recent event in Lagos has become a hot subject on social media.

Aigbe, who claims Olukotun attacked her without provocation, said she retaliated because of the businesswoman’s constant cyberbullying and physical abuse.

However, Olukotun stated in an Instagram post on Tuesday that she publicly opposed Mercy Aigbe because of the actress’s behavior during her marriage to movie marketer Kazim Adeoti.

The entrepreneur claimed that Aigbe had publicly opposed the actress because she had dared Adeoti’s first wife, with whom he had four children.

After marriage to Adeoti, Olukotun chastised Aigbe for his “audacity to disrespect, show off, and portray different indirect signs.”

“You kept on daring the other woman on what can she do and calling yourself ‘Aya d owner’; the husband that belongs to another woman that has for kids for d same man u married is what I stand stood against.

“If that is my crime to have offended some people, I say it here publicly that I’m not sorry,” the businesswoman said.

She accused Mercy Aigbe of “always acting like a victim to the public and showing your devilish part behind close doors.”

“Anyone can buy your drama. That’s not my business but don’t play with me,” Olukotun slammed Aigbe.

After the video of Mercy Aigbe’s public brawl with the businesswoman went viral on social media on Monday, the video has gotten a lot of attention.
