The Osun Sector Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, has revealed that 1,225 officers will be deployed during the Christmas festive period.
According to Sector Commander Henry Benamaisia, this is to ensure safety on highways.
Benamaisia, who made this known in an interview with journalists on Monday, added that 24 routes across the state have been identified by the command as prone to accidents.
The Osun FRSC boss added that 25 flash points across the state have been mapped out to ensure thorough safety compliance by motorists to avoid any form of accident.
“Eight black spots have been identified to avoid any form of accident. The 1, 225 officers to be deployed across Osun consist of special marshals and regulars and they will ensure the state records zero accidents during the Christmas period,” he said.
